Shining Star

The Shining Star is a very special award presented at junior assembly to students who have demonstrated some lovely characteristics. 

We were VERY proud to see Anna win this award last week for her helpfulness and leadership at the Sports Extravaganza. These are qualities that we see all the time in Anna, so it was lovely to see them recognised by other people. Congratulations Anna - this award was well-deserved!

first you design your bug on a piece of paper in black pastille then fold it over and push really hard then there will  a  faint line trace over it then add color.

The ball was passed to me what do I do my brain was dead flat so i started to run. The rips tied to my waist were flapping wildly against my body .

People were diving for my rips .Dodging boys and girls using all their might to rip my rips.

without warning all of the other team went straight toward me.   Dodge 1 down 9 to go

3 down 6  to go i kept dodging people till there was one boy left.I raced to  the finish line and scored a try

Today we had a mufti day to celebrate the All Blacks. GO ALL BLACKS!

BIRTHDAY MEMORY

My birthday memory. Wrapping paper flying everywhere, toys being revealed. What fun! (what chaos!) I scream as toys emerge from their secret lives in shops and I make my unicorn fly around the room just like in a fantasy world.

Then for the moment I'd been waiting for… the biggest present of all has arrived!  

I was so mad

I was so mad. 8:00 am Wednesday 21st of October.
"Brush your teeth!" 
"Wash your face!" 
“MUM" I scream, balls of anger rise up in my tummy "Stop rushing us"
"ANNA we're going to be late!" shouted Mum.  
"I don’t care" I yell back full of relentless anger now.  
Just then when no one was expecting it... Dad walked in. "What is all the drama about?"
No one was willing to answer.

I was so scared ahaaaaaaaaaaaaa

I was so scared. 

"Ahaaaaaa" I scream, full of terror. 

My eyes are shining with endless tears.  Everyone in the room  was terrified of what lay before us in the darkness. My heart is thumping faster than usual. My stomach is queasy and butterflies are flying wildly inside me.  Then the mummy started to charge. "You will all lose your heads starting with YOU!” 

"Me?"

"Yes you!” 

"Ahaaaaa."

This is the last night walk I ever want to do.

This morning Miss Skiving the Scientist came.  We   made spud guns you need a potato straw kebab stick. You poke  the straw through the potato in  both ends.  Poke the kebab stick in the straw and Aim and fire PERFECT shot

My goals for term three are: 

¨ To learn my 3, 4, 5 and 6 times tables off by heart

¨ To look after my property responsibly, like clothing, reading books etc (not lose things)

¨ To use a clear, loud voice with lots of expression (an interesting voice) when I present my speech to an audience and in the school production

¨ To reduce the amount of rubbish I create and to become better at reusing and recycling
